The course topics include the basic principles of  energy as light, the solar spectrum and the elements that allow for photovoltaics to operate. The course topics include looking at battery cell structure, battery terminology, primary and secondary cells, nominal cell voltage, nominal battery bank voltage, charge and discharge rate, amp hour capacity, watt hour capacity, state of charge, depth of discharge, battery cycle life, common battery types and a brief all-in-one product overview.
